Our CEO, Nicholas Lavere, has a younger brother who was diagnosed with autism. Over the years, Nicholas watched his brother fall in love with the game of basketball and grow more confident just as he himself during his varsity high school career. He had the opportunity to watch special needs athletes play basketball and has witnessed real potential. However, these athletes tend to only play for a couple months until the season resumes the following year. NABL has a personal attachment to our organization and sees a market to develop these athletes and a demand for continuous participation in the sport.
Why Us?
Over the years, Nicholas watched his brother fall in love with the game of basketball and grow more confident, just as he has himself during his varsity high school career. Nicholas had the opportunity to watch special needs athletes play basketball and has witnessed real potential. However, these athletes tend to only play for a couple months until the season resumes the following year. The NABL has a personal attachment to our organization and sees a market to develop these athletes and a demand for continuous participation in the sport.
Solution
NABL looks to facilitate an environment where athletes can develop their skills and play year-round. By hosting camps, tournaments, and amateur leagues, these athletes will have a way to compete and practice without the disappointment of a long off-season and lack of resources.
